Remnants of My Home
Collage and Installation
This photographic installation combines alternative printing materials with physical objects to create a chaotic vision of my childhood through my large family archive. The juxtaposition between tangible and digital images represents the various ways that memories have been stored and preserved, transitioning from past to present. The overlapping surfaces which conceal some areas and highlight others serves to represent the brain’s tendency to our distort our past memories, as time goes on.
